Explosive Demolition of Tower Blocks

Explosive demolition of two 24-storey residential tower blocks in Glasgow, Scotland. Stakeholder engagement with several local authorities and circa 1,000 local residents made way for a successfully delivered explosive demolition project.

Deconstruction of City Centre Office Blocks

Deconstruction and demolition of a 14 storey office block in the heart of Coventry city centre's main shopping area.

Shopping Centre Deconstruction

Colemans were chosen by Sir Robert McAlpine to carry out the extensive asbestos removal, soft strip and complex demolition and deconstruction works at the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, Nottingham.

City of London, Deconstruction 

Colemans carried out the deconstruction of an eight-storey building in the heart of the City of London, close to the Shard, Tower Bridge and many other iconic sites and landmarks, as part of a refurbishment and conversation of buildings into a 5-star hotel.

Structural Alterations, City Centre Shopping Centre

Colemans completed this complex sequence of works within the £600million regeneration of Birmingham New Street Station, working with Network Rail as part of the Birmingham Gateway project.

Dismantling, Battersea Gas Holder

Colemans applied innovative methods of cold cutting while working off a floated piston to dismantle the gas holders located adjacent to elevated railway lines, a proud world-first method by Colemans.

Specialist Cutting Birmingham City Centre

Colemans were engaged by BAM to facilitate the complex cutting, hydro demolition, robotic demolition and traditional demolition within a five-storey below ground structure.

Grade II Listed City Centre Structural Alterations

Colemans completed a package of deconstruction, soft strip and structural alterations to a Grade 2 listed building in the heart of the financial quarter in Birmingham City Centre.

City Centre Retrofit

Colemans were appointed as a multi-discipline contractor to undertake structural alterations, soft strip, de-planting and screed removal, within the iconic Bullring Shopping Centre in the heart of Birmingham city centre.

Colemans designed and installed temporary works to retain a façade to a Grade A listed building located in Glasgow city centre's busy commercial district

Deconstruction of Lionel House

Colemans were tasked with the deconstruction of a ten storey office block in Birmingham's iconic Jewellery Quarter

Deconstruction at Waterloo International Station

As part of the £600million regeneration of Waterloo International Terminal, Colemans delivered a complex project within some of the most challenging site restrictions we have ever encountered.

Motorway Bridge Deconstruction & Demolition

Colemans showed our bridge demolition expertise to complete the removal of the A404 (M) motorway bridge over Great Western Railway high speed four track, whilst maintaining the flow of motorway traffic and ensuring minimal disruption to Network Rail’s operations.
